Family Agreement

We’re so glad your family is here. This agreement helps keep expectations clear and creates a safe, thoughtful, and positive experience for every family at Kellie’s Table. Please review the sections below before participation.

General Policies Payment, cancellations, illness, behavior, safety, and photos.

Payment

Payment should be made before any Kellie’s Table service takes place, unless another arrangement has been confirmed with the family. If payments fall behind, future sessions or services may be paused until the remaining balance is paid.

Cancellations & Missed Sessions

Because class sizes and tutoring times are limited, cancellations and missed sessions may not be refundable once a spot has been reserved. Families should provide at least 24 hours notice when requesting to cancel, reschedule, or change a session. Missed sessions or late cancellations may be charged or subject to a cancellation fee, depending on the service arrangement.

Illness Policy

Please keep your child home if they are sick, feverish, or showing symptoms that could affect other students. Kellie’s Table may ask that a child not participate if they appear unwell.

Behavior & Safety Expectations

Students are expected to listen, follow instructions, treat others kindly, and participate safely. If a child’s behavior creates a safety concern or disrupts the class, a parent may be contacted.

Parent Availability, Drop-Off & Pick-Up

A parent, guardian, or approved adult should remain reachable during the child’s session and arrive on time for pick-up. Session location, arrival instructions, and pick-up expectations will be provided directly to the parent or guardian.

Emergency Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, Kellie’s Table may contact emergency services and/or seek emergency medical care for a child if a parent, guardian, or emergency contact cannot be reached immediately.

The parent or guardian remains responsible for any medical expenses related to such care.

Photo & Media Permission

Kellie’s Table may occasionally take photos of activities, projects, or class moments. Parent permission is collected separately on the Family Agreement form before a child’s photo is used publicly.

Reading Table Reading support, home practice, progress, and expectations.

Reading Focus

Reading Table services may include one-on-one reading support focused on areas such as letter recognition, phonological awareness, phoneme segmentation, reading fluency, comprehension, high frequency words, spelling, sentence writing, and reading confidence.

Session Activities

Sessions may include guided reading, discussion, practice activities, targeted skill work, and a combination of reading strategies based on the student’s needs.

Take-Home Materials

Students may be sent home with reading materials, practice pages, or a reading binder. Parents are responsible for helping the child bring assigned materials to each session and return borrowed materials in good condition.

Progress & Home Practice

Reading improvement takes time, consistency, regular attendance, and practice outside of sessions. Parents are encouraged to support recommended home practice between sessions.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

Kellie’s Table will provide supportive instruction and parent communication, but every child progresses differently. Specific grades, test scores, school placement, assignment results, or academic outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Parent Communication

Kellie’s Table will provide feedback as appropriate. Parents are encouraged to share helpful information about the child’s reading level, goals, challenges, school expectations, and any concerns that may affect the child’s learning.

Pausing or Ending Services

Either Kellie’s Table or the family may choose to stop ongoing reading services with reasonable notice. Any remaining balance should be settled before the final session or service is completed.

Kitchen Table Kitchen safety, food allergies, and kitchen tools usage.

Kitchen Safety

Kitchen Table activities may include age-appropriate use of kitchen tools, utensils, appliances, heat, and food preparation. Families understand that cooking includes ordinary risks such as minor cuts, burns, spills, slips, allergic reactions, or other kitchen-related incidents.

Kellie’s Table will provide reasonable supervision and safety instructions. Students are expected to follow directions and use tools, equipment, and materials only as instructed.

Food Allergies & Restrictions

Parents are responsible for disclosing all allergies, dietary restrictions, medical conditions, or other concerns before class. Kellie’s Table will make reasonable efforts to be mindful of disclosed allergies and restrictions, but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

If a child has a severe allergy, medical condition, or dietary concern, the parent or guardian is responsible for discussing this with Kellie’s Table before participation and determining whether the service is appropriate for their child.

Art Table Art supplies, materials, mess, sensitivities, and allergies.

Art Supplies & Materials

Art Table activities may involve paint, markers, glue, scissors, paper, craft materials, and other age-appropriate supplies. Some materials may stain clothing or surfaces, so students should wear clothing suitable for art activities.

Sensitivities & Allergies

Parents should disclose any known sensitivities, allergies, or concerns related to art materials, scents, textures, or supplies.

Keepsake Photo Books Photo rights, design approvals, printing, and privacy.

Client Photo Permission

The client confirms that they have the right to share and use all photos submitted to Kellie’s Table for the purpose of creating the requested photo book.

Design, Review & Printing

Kellie’s Table may crop, adjust, arrange, or edit photos as part of the design process. Final printed colors, cropping, and trim may vary slightly from digital previews. Once a photo book has been approved and ordered, refunds or changes may be limited.

Privacy

Family photos and personal materials will be handled with care and will not be shared publicly without permission.
