Overview

The ABCs of Cooking Course is a progressive series made up of three separate classes. Each class includes three 3-hour lessons. Class A is required before a student may participate in Class B or Class C.

Class A builds foundational kitchen safety and recipe skills. Class B and Class C are each optional next steps — Class B focuses on preparing full meals, and Class C carries students through planning, shopping, cooking, and serving a meal from start to finish.

Each lesson is tailored to the students’ skill levels and combines practical life skills, literacy, confidence, and meaningful enrichment.
